meet the instructors

deb dushku

 

deb has led a lifetime of fitness including, working, competing, and teaching in the field.

 

she has been teaching a large variety of group fitness classes for over 16 years.  deb has held her AFAA primary instructor certification for over 9 years and continues to achieve individual certifications.  some of these include cardio kickboxing, step aerobics, silver sneakers senior fitness, mad dogg SPINNING, yogafit levels 1 and 2, and afaa’s practical pilates.  she is also a seasoned personal trainer.

 

deb was a competitive bodybuilder with the ANBC (all natural bodybuilding conference) and has held local and national titles and placings.

 

deb is very passionate about the fight against cancer and participates in several fund raising drives including the danskin women’s triathlon and the pan-massachusetts challenge.  as well, she is an avid lobbyist for animal rights and volunteers with the save-a-dog rescue group.

larry mignosa

larry has been certified with mad dogg SPINNING for over 11 years, and was one of the first active spinning instructors in the state.

studying martial arts is a passion for larry, and he has been practicing several forms for 20+ years.  he holds ranks in kenpo, seiken budo, and aiki ju-jutsu.

phyllis stuppiello

 

phyllis has been a group fitness instructor since 1993 and has held positions in both corporate and commercial facilities.

 

currently certified with her afaa primary group certification, she also holds individual certifications with mad dogg SPINNING and health care dimensions national certification for seniors.  phyllis is continually furthering her education in the fitness industry.

 

this mom of two has a true commitment to fitness which comes through in her enthusiasm...”everyone can be fit if they want to!”

ann masse

 

ann went from being an avid SPINNING participant of several years to a certified SPINNING instructor with mad dogg SPINNING.  she was also certified with AFAA in 1996 and has experience with aerobics, weight training, pilates and yoga.

ann is enthusiastic about exercise, loves to have a great time working out, and has a life long passion for holistic health and fitness.

 

ann has two beautiful daughters, is a leader of a girl scout troop, and coaches instructional soccer.

erin welch

 

erin recently earned her certification with Mad Dogg Athletics SPINNING, and is preparing to pursue her primary group fitness instructor certification!

 

erin enjoys fitness of all kinds including yoga, running, bicycling, and hiking.  for her, being active is an integral part of her life, and something she hopes to instill in others, especially her two beautiful daughters.

 

erin is a former first grade teacher and taught in hopkinton for seven years before having her children.  she is now enjoying being able to stay at home with them.

deb recently achieved her certification in SPINNING from Mad Dogg Athletics and is pursuing her Primary Group Fitness Certification with AFAA.

 

deb enjoys the camaraderie of working out in a group setting and is enthusiastic about health and fitness.  she is looking forward to continuing her education with AFAA and working to expand her knowledge base into other areas of fitness.  she has always loved sports of all kinds and works to instill that love for fitness in her children.

 

along with being a very busy mother of 4, she is also a Registered Nurse in the Maternity Center at both UMass Memorial and Milford Regional Hospitals.  in her free time, she is the coordinator of the Pee Wee soccer program in the town of millbury, and coaches two of the soccer teams in town.
